I'm Ashleigh

I built Yellow Falcon because I needed it and couldn't find it.

When my husband died suddenly, I was 29 and 17 weeks pregnant with triplets. The grief was its own kind of hard. But no one warned me about the rest: the phone calls, the paperwork, the death admin with banks and schools and lawyers, all of it landing while my heart was breaking.

Emotional support existed. Practical help didn't. So I built my own, task by task, in the worst weeks of my life. That spreadsheet became Yellow Falcon.

It started with widows, because that's what I knew. But grief admin doesn't check who you are first. Yellow Falcon is for anyone grief has landed on: the bereaved, the people supporting them, and those getting their affairs in order before they have to. Whatever your loss, you're welcome here.

Built from lived experience

I was 29 and 17 weeks pregnant with triplets when my husband died suddenly in an accident. People were so kind - the flowers, the lasagnes, the messages that meant the world. But none of them came with a roadmap for what actually came next.

So I built one. Counsellors handle the emotional weight. Funeral directors handle the day. Lawyers handle the estate. But no one walks you through the practical chronology of life after loss. That is what Yellow Falcon is - the practical resource I wished I'd had, now in the hands of the bereaved, the people who love them, and the organisations that employ them.

With all my heart, Ashleigh

For supporters

Skip the flowers.
Send real help.

Someone you love is grieving and you want to help - but flowers wilt and the freezer fills with lasagne. Here's what actually turns up and helps:

  • Yellow Falcon resources - gift the roadmap we wish everyone had.
  • Practical help - meals, cleaning and groceries that lighten the load.
  • Thoughtful gifts - grief journals and care boxes, chosen with heart.
Relief, in their words

The feeling people describe is finally, someone gets it.

“It's insane how much you have to learn to do while literally having the worst time of your life. Then I found there are other people who have gone through this. We are so grateful for everything you do.”

KateLost her partner

“Things can change in a blink, and it's never too morbid to have your details written down for your partner. It's an act of love to be organised for them.”

BecCaring for her husband

“It's been helpful to know what's in front of us - but more importantly it's made some really tough conversations between Dad and I easier.”

AnonymousLost their mum

“A thoughtful, responsible and highly contextual adoption plan for sensitive grief support.”

We don't whisper about grief.

We won't tell you it gets easier on a timeline. We won't promise the pain disappears. We will tell you the truth about what's coming and walk through it with you anyway.
